Haha, jag längtar jättemycket tills denna dokumentär kommer ut på DVD! Bad 25 Documentary. Det är en film om allt bakom Bad; låtarna, konserterna och musikvideorna. Material som aldrig tidigare visats. Filmen är regisserad av Spike Lee, regissören bakom båda musikvideorna till "They don't care about us" och till låten "This is it".

 

"One of the reasons why I wanted to do this documentary is that we wanted to concentrate on the music. I think for too many years, and I wanna include myself, we've concentrated on stuff that has nothing to do with Michael Jackson. So this is the time to concentrate on the music, the genius of Michael Jackson. It was a chance to really dig into his create of process. We're all blessed with the finale work, while it's rare you get to see how it was put together. We don't see the blood, sweat and tears, all the work that goes into how the masters work. So this was a opportunity by speaking to the musicians, speaking to the record label people who concentrated, who collaborated with Michael. And people forget this album Bad followed up Thriller, which is today still the biggest selling album of all time. So just thinking about the tremendous pressure Michael was under – how do you follow up the biggest selling album of all time? But that didn't Michael think about, he wanted to sell, if you saw the film, he wanted Bad to sell a 100 million, 'cause he was never satisfied with what he did. He wanted to get bigger and better and grow every single time, and great artists don't reapeat the same thing again and again, and that's what this documentary, for me, is about." - Spike Lee
