Michael Jackson attended funeral service for 2-year old Craig Fleming, and presented a contribution of $50,000 towards Craig’s surviving brother’s medical expenses and establishes a scholarship fund to benefit him.

Craig’s mother threw him over the side of a Los Angeles bridge along with his 4-year old brother (Michael Fleming), before jumping to her own planned death.

Michael initially did not want to attend the funeral but Lisa Marie convinced him to attend because his celebrity status shouldn’t keep him away from his feeling. 

Michael later dedicated the song “Childhood” on the HIStory album to the memory of Craig Fleming.
