Han förtjänar så himla mycket detta, ingen annan musikartist har varit så engagerad i sitt artisteri som honom. Han har jobbat obeskrivligt hårt för att göra det bästa av sin talang, och offrat så himla mycket. <3

 

 

"Michael had remarkably good hearing when I worked with him, all things considered, but he loved having his headphones painfully loud. If you have never worked in a recording studio, the reason singers and musicians use headphones is so they can hear the song, their voice, etc., but the microphone only hears their voice, or the instrument they are playing. It became a bit of a challenge for us, because Michael would crank his headphones louder and louder during a session, then he would call out, "Brad… my headphones don’t sound right… can I get another pair?" I would bring him another pair, only to discover he had blown the previous ones. Now, you can’t really tell Michael he needs to turn his headphones down, so the challenge was to find a set that would please his ears and be comfortable to wear, and be loud enough for his liking. 

 

We tried several models from AKG and Sennheiser, only to send them to the shop with smoke coming out of them after an MJ vocal session. Finally we discovered the solution: The Fostex T20. Michael tried them and reached for the volume control. Now, I like loud music, I really do – but the volume that Michael would listen to and sing along with on those T20’s was mindblowing! He loved them, and they became our must-have in every studio we worked in.

Äh, vem bryr sig om honom?! Man ska bara bry sig om vad alla de som älskade Michael säger, för alla dessa är de enda som egentligen kände honom. Sanningen är den att Tom Sneddon ville sätta dit Michael till vilken kostnad som helst, att han for runt världen för att söka personer som var beredda att ljuga för detta, så han kunde ha en anledning till att fängsla honom (detta säger Tom Mesereau i sitt tal på Harvard vid 11:56, här!). Jag är så glad att Tom Mesereau var Michaels advokat, för han fortsätter att försvara Michael till denna dag då han vet personligen att Michael var helt och hållet oskyldig. Varför skulle en advokat göra något sådant för sin föredetta klient om han trodde motsatsen, att klienten var skyldig? (Ni kan se denna video också.)

 

Michael trodde att sanningen alltid avslöjas, och det gör jag också. Jag hoppas Jordan Chandler eller någon gör ett riktig uttalande att allt var bara lögn. Fast om man pusslar ihop alla bitar som Mesereau talar om är det tydligt att de gjorde det endast för pengar.

"I was dressed to go out one day when I got the idea to play a practical joke on him. I snuck into my father’s room and on a second phone line called my brother. In my best New York accent, I said, ‘’Hello, Michael?’’

‘’Oh, hi!’’ Michael, having admired the director since working with him on The Wiz, was thrilled.

 

‘’Mr. Lumet’s in town and would like to see you.’’

 

‘’Really?’’ I heard the phone drop and then Michael’s footsteps as he ran toward my room, shouting, ‘’La Toya! La Toya!’’

 

I hid the receiver under a pillow. ‘’I’m in here!’’

 

His head popped in the doorway. ‘’Guess who’s on the phone! Sidney Lumet’s secretary! And guess what?’’ Michael was so beside himself with excitement I almost fell out laughing right then. ‘’Sidney Lumet wants to see me!’’

 

‘’He does?’’

 

‘’Yes. I gotta go back. She’s waiting for me.’’ A few seconds later I heard a breathless ‘’Hello?’’

 

‘’Yes, Michael,’’ I said in the New York accent, ‘’Mr. Lumet would like to see you at your home. In fact, he’s not too far from there right now. May he come over?’’

 

‘’You’re kidding! Hold on!’’

 

Michael rushed back to Joseph’s room. ‘’La Toya, what are we gonna do? He’s on his way over now! I wanna see him but…’’ My brother surveyed the house, which was always immaculate. ‘’Clean the house!’’ he cried, then ran back and told the ‘’secretary’’ he’d be ready. I couldn’t resist laying it on thick. ‘’You know, Michael,’’ I said, ‘’Mr. Lumet really thinks you’re incredibly talented, and he always talks about what a wonderful job you did on The Wiz.’’

 

‘’Oh, that’s very nice. But I’ve got to go and get ready. Bye!’’

 

‘’Mother!’’ Michael shouted. ‘’Sidney Lumet’s on his way over! Sidney Lumet’s on his way over! Everybody hurry up! Close the garage! Clean the house!’’ He was barking orders like a staff sergeant.

 

Michael was frantic, pulling out clothes and asking, ‘’But what should I wear? How should I fix my hair?’’ I played along, even as he stood out by the gate waiting for his esteemed guest. ‘’No I wasn’t, Mike,’’ I replied innocently.

 

‘’Yeah? Then how do you know what she said?’’

 

‘’Because it was me!’’

 

His jaw dropped. ‘’Now you’re going to get it!’’ I laughed so hard I didn’t realize he’d picked up the garden hose. My brother drenched my suede outfit, laughing vengefully, while I screamed for Mother to rescue me."

Jag förstår precis vad du menar och du ska inte vara orolig! Tidigare har jag haft sådana perioder också, då jag tar en liten paus ifrån musiken och videor, eftersom jag känner inget "lyckorus". Detta gör jag eftersom jag tror att jag blir "för mätt". Jag kommer ihåg då jag fick min första sådan period, då jag blev likgiltig, och jag blev också jätteorolig, men det kom tillbaka efter några veckor. :) Mitt råd är att du tar en liten paus.

 

Jag har varit ett fan snart i sex år och jag fangirlar ännu. :D Kommer alltid göra. Haha, när jag är 90 år och bor på typ äldreboende kommer jag ha MJ-affischer på väggarna och fortfarande digga till hans musik, kortfilmer och uppträdanden!

Michael spelade in på en bandspelare sin röst där han gav sina "krya på dig"-önskningar till Akio Morita, som var en japansk affärsman samt en av Sonys grundare. Så fint! Akio Morita lyssnade på bandet tre gånger om dagen – precis efter han vaknade på morgonen, innan han skulle sova och mitt på dagen. Tack för tipset, anonymus!

Så, jag försökte precis gå in på Katherines Remembering Michael på fundanyhting.com för att se hur mycket pengar som har samlats in, och det visar sig att det hela har lagts ned?! Läs här om det. Ledsen och arg blir jag, eftersom jag är en av många som har ekonomiskt stött detta. Jag betalade cirka 220 kronor för att få dokumentären på DVD.

 

Jag har alltid vänt bort blicken när folk på Internet talar om att familjen Jackson är pengagiriga etc, vilket jag fortfarande inte tror. Inte Katherine. Men efter detta blir jag bara så besviken.. Åtminstone på hemsidan jag länkade till står det att Katherine inte ens kunde ha gjort någon dokumentär från första början då hon inte hade tagit sig rätt till Michaels bilder eller musik. Förstod hon inte att hon aldrig kunnat gå igenom med detta utan Michaels estates tillåtelse? Klart hon visste. Därför förstår jag inte syftet med hela pengainsamlingen.

Jag kan också bli irriterad på folk när de skriker efter honom, fans eller inte. Jag menar, om Michael är ute någonstans och en folksamling samlas runt honom och skriker, så blir det ju ingen bra stämning överhuvudtaget. Om alla var respektfulla, dvs. inte skriker och knuffas, så kanske Michael skulle känna sig mer komfortabel. Fast detta gäller ju i olika sammanhang; om han var Michael Jackson, popstjärnan, just då (alltså i offentliga sammanhang, såsom på konserter eller galor, osv) så är det en sak, men när han bara liksom är Michael, människan, så är det ju en annan sak. Om ni förstår vad jag menar, haha.
